Dear Mom,

Watching Juno has opened up my eyes to see possibly some of the things you might have gone through during your pregnancy with me. You were only 18 when you became pregnant and although it is a little older than 15 or 16, you still were really young. I'm glad that you decided to keep me even though some of our family did not approve of your choice. Should you have chosen to have an abortion, you might have gone to college, you might have had a well paying career sooner, you might have also been able to live your life. You always teach me the values of life and how important it is to stay focused in school, sometimes I wish that you could've been able to do all the things that you wanted to do. You had to put your life on hold, drop out of high school and take care of a really crazy and loud baby. Though you say that if you had a chance to redo anything you wouldn't, I know that you would. You would go back to graduate from high school and go to college and live the fun life most 20 year old people get to live. Maybe if you had gone back to school, you would't have had Angelina (younger sister) at 20 years old. I'm proud of the things that you have accomplished and of the choices you have made for us to keep us safe. I'm proud that you have made something of your life after having two kids at such a young age. Though we've had some struggles financially in the past, you pushed yourself to the max and became an HR Manger, with out a diploma from high school or a degree from college. You've showed me that anything is possible as long as you set your mind to it and pursue whatever it is you love doing, however, you still tell my sister and I, if you had gone to college or graduated you would've got to your destination a lot sooner. I'm glad that you decided to keep us, even when you felt you couldn't or felt you weren't strong enough to take care of us on your own, because you're a really great mother.
